Ohio Correctional Reception Center Visiting

Hours

  Reception Status Inmates:

• Monday – Friday           8:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
• Visitors cannot be processed in to visitation between 9:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. due to count procedures.
• Visitors must be processed in no later than 2:15 p.m. in order to be permitted to visit.
• The designated day to visit a reception inmate is based on the inmate’s institution number, as follows:
  Numbers ending in 1 or 2 – Monday
  Numbers ending in 3 or 4 – Tuesday
  Numbers ending in 5 or 6 – Wednesday
  Numbers ending in 7 or 8 – Thursday
  Numbers ending in 9 or 0 – Friday
• Ohio Correctional Reception Center Visitors of reception inmates are permitted to download and bring the completed visitor application with them on their first visit.

  Cadre or Short-Term Inmates:

• Saturday – Sunday         8:30 a.m. -3:15 p.m.
• Visitors cannot be processed in to visitation between 9:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
• Visitors must be processed in no later than 2:15 p.m. in order to be permitted to visit.
• Visiting is closed for all inmates on all State Holidays.
• Visiting hours are subject to change without notice. Please call the institution to verify visiting hours before planning a visit.

  Reservations

• Reservations are not required.

  Institution-Specific Visiting Information

• Visiting is limited to a maximum of 5 visitors per inmate at one time, unless special arrangements have been made in advance.
• Approved visitors may visit up to 2 times per month.
• Visitors may bring up to $20 for vending purchases during the visit.  Bills must be no larger than $5 denominations.
